that would be a *good* thing. as much as I'm willing to promote the use of a good selection of emulators the likes of Kawaks, FBA, Nebula and MAME are better than NRX in every way, and if you're running XP you can run those. If you're running XP on something that can't run those then NRX is the least of your concerns.
Its a buggy, obsolete emulator which has been surpassed in every way by a wide selection of current emulators. Its quite depressing that people spend so much time hacking this closed source piece of junk when there are SO MANY alternatives, neogeo is probably the most overemulated system... yet nobody gives a thought to making *legitimate* improvements to the existing batch of alternate emus.
The authors did request it not be hacked a lot time after its death.
It was good in its day, but its day is long long gone and a bunch of cheap hacks aren't going to change that as the flaws are too deep.
