I've got a CDZ system and found that backups of games made post 1995 don't boot.

Does anyone know if there is some sort of work around?

I expect the guys making the Neo Geo CDZ emulator would know but my Japanese isn't too hot!

Also, i'm about to put a language switch in with the assistance of this page:

http://www.gamesx.com/importmod/neocdzcon.htm

It's an incredibly simple mod but i just wonder if anyone else has done one as i'm a bit concerned it could go pop fzzz Sayounara.

I've heard the blood code is only on Jap setting, is this true? is there any difference between US and EU setting? if not wouldn't it be better to have the switch one way for US or EU and the other for Jap?

Cheers,
Clackers

Or are you converting them from ISO+MP3?
What software are you using to rip/convert?

Try a later game in BIN/CUE and again with CloneCD/Alcohol120/Blindread Blindwrite/etc (bascially something that copies subchannel data) and see if the problem replicates.
