VBS stands for "Visual Basic Script". If you open them with notepad, you'll see that it is plain text and Visual Basic like code. Even if you don't NEED these files, them being there won't hurt :) So if I were in your shoes, I'll go for them coz sooner or later you might need them, and they'll already be waiting there for just such a case. If you have any error regarding some VBS stuff, make sure you are using the latest version available here. :)
