I just downloaded a mod from Nicky Stupid. It just happens to be a table I created. Mr. Stupid claims to be a talented artist who improves other people's tables. I must say the table I created was as close to perfect as you can get. The playfield was pristine, the backglass clean and simple, not distracting from the game in any way, and yet he has to add a hideously messed up, blurry, noisey picture to the backglass. It's like take a Mona Lisa and improve it with the finger painting of a grade schooler. He could easily have chosen better artwork for the mod, yet he thinks this is an improvement. He could have also asked me for permission, my email is all over the website, but of course he didn't bother. His obvious lack of style or talent is in sharp contrast to the praise heaped on him by his 3 or 4 supporters. The only thing I can conclude is he and his supporters are one and the same, for how could there be other people as blind as he is?

If he had modded it and made it better looking there could almost be some merit to his stupid excuse of giving to the community, of slaving away to improve the VP world, but to take something that is perfect and make crap out of it is just the height of laziness and the fact he doesn't recognize it is pathetic.

Anyways, I'm not the least bit offended. I find it incredibly hillarious to see someone who claims to be so perfect make something that's pure sh!t. If anyone needs an example of what a fool he is, that would be the perfect choice. As you read his endless threads of meaningless bable, and imagine the seriousness on his face, just look at the picture and laugh your @ss off. :)

What table you're talking about? I have downloaded tons of good tables & mods by Nicky but I have never even heard of you.

And who cares? If it's that bad people probably won't play it.

Yes, I'm new here. And yes you must be one of the handful of Nicky worshipers. I on the other hand am one of the hundreds of table authors who actually make the tables Mr Stupid likes to mod. If not for us he'd just be sitting on his couch waxing his poodle (like his old vpforums avatar). If you don't know who I am that's because people who provide the content you blood sucking leeches enjoy don't hang out on warez sites. We have our own sites where the tables you'll be downloading next month are shared, discussed, and enjoyed by people who actually appreciate the hard work it takes. No warez kiddies, no ROM collectors, no modders, no lamers, and that most likely means not people like you :)

I hope you get the chance to enjoy the tables we make before Mr Stupid has a chance to crappify them. If not, your loss.

Jay Phillips, VP GOD, however, is a mentor and guru to ALL pinball fans around the world. His mature approach and friendly attitude do a lot of good to whole struggling pinball community. And this kind of behaviour surely gains a lot of new fans to IRPinball team.

i can understand that you were upset but the ns discussion really is as old as the vp community (no need to tell you that) and i believe that noone pays any more attention to him...most people know where the real tables are coming from :)
