Well, I don't like to respond to trolls but against my better judgement, I'll do so here. That post I made back in October was an off-hand remark borne out of frustration, after what I saw as a pretty bad day at vpforums -- frankly, I thought the mods and admins had made a number of unfair judgements, and seeing as there were a fair number of vpforums regulars who sympathized with Pacdude, I wasn't the only one who felt this way. To their credit, I recall the mods/admins had taken some steps afterwards to reverse course and resolve their wrongs that day - BJ owned up to an error in judgement he had made, AJ himself stepped in and unlocked a thread that was locked by the mods/admins, and from what I understood, PacDude was able to resolve his issues with the vpforums mods/admins in private.

So it was pretty much a remark borne out of frustration at the time, kind of like Kid Charlemagne's remark that the only good modder is a "dead" modder; I didn't approve of his words but I knew where his anger was coming from, and I never took his remark seriously by thinking he wants to see all table modders dead.

And for the record, I don't like to see trolling anywhere, whether it's here on retrogames or on vpforums. I like to think that most vpforum members are more friendly and mature than the trolls I've seen posting their flamebait -- hopefully these trolls aren't representative of vpforums members these days, and maybe they'll learn to grow up a bit.

Nicky S damn near destroyed the confidence of all the great VPM table builders with his arrogence and spite. He was wrong from the start but, instead of taking his medicine he went on a revenge campaign and damn near screwed everything up for everyone.(guess his ego was dented. just found out he is a freelance journo Stuart C)
The moderators did what they had to do by kicking his butt out.
So, it would seem by the strengthening numbers of the VPF that the majority of the forum members are right behind the moderators and the job they are doing DESPITE Nickys ravings about unfair treatment.

Not really.
I've seen the table that Nicky Stupid screwed up of Jay's.
I think Jay has got good reason to be upset.
Jay puts in a lot of time and effort to make a great table then along comes "pirate pete" Nicky and f**ks it up completely.
I know that a couple of the others at IRP don't mind what people do to their tables but, Jay DOES so, his wishes should be respected.
