SubjectThe ultimate VPinMAME cabinet... new Reply to this message

IMO, here's what would make the ultimate cabinet for this emu:

A 27" monitor mounted vertically in a cocktail table type cabinet, looking down at it and perhaps tilted vertically up on the far end a few inches. On the sides are properly placed flipper buttons, and a button front right for plunger. I'm not sure how best to handle tilt buttons tho...

Anyway, image the tables displayed vertically with the LED box at the top. I think that would look pretty cool and very similar to a real table. A 27" screen would be a decent size.

I'm not gonna build one, but perhaps someone else out there loves pins enough to do it. Afterall, many ppl have made custom emu arcade cabs, but I've not yet heard of a custom pinball emu cab. :) I bet someone will do it...

Total games between me and my roomie (he co-owns a few):

No Good Gofers, Scared Stiff, Tales of the Arabian Nights, Twilight Zone, Revenge from Mars + Ep1 kit, Indiana Jones, World Cup 94, Dracula, Dr Who, Earthshaker, Black Knight 2000, Funhouse.

(using full names for the pin-abbreviation challenged on the board here :)
