Wow, I really should take this as a compliment, wouldn't I? :)
And yup, I posted my thoughts about the moderation on VPF.
I think this whole thing as a cumulation of different happenings. As I saw it, being a new member, it started with Tii being banned, that ticked me off and I posted the following tread-post in the debate-forum.
"Without any notifications my posts get altered, people getting banned for having a different opinions, discussions getting closed when it becomes interesting. I'm quite new here, but I get the scary feeling that this place is a bit over-moderated. Lose some moderators, please. Especially the childish or frustrated ones, thanks."
(I saved this because I suspected them moderators wouldn't respect my opinions). And thus this was ongoing.
Meanwhile PacDude and KC had a mod-fight somewhere else in the forum, which KC started, but because KC is a also a moderator (like who is not) PC didn't stand a change. Then Black started to threat to discontinue VP-development for some reason. And PacDude got banned. And all would be fine, thought the moderators.
Now another thread got started about the banning of PacDude. Many disagreed about that. (At that time I got a nasty PM from yet another moderator, sigh)
That was the last straw for the moderators. They broke and went totally nuts, deleting whole forums and banning long time members (and as you stated a very talented new one;).
Well, did I left something out? Is this a soap box or not? Somebody should make a movie out of it. And that movie should be modded by NS, haha.
