SubjectDouble Display Size new Reply to this message

Hey there,

If you run your pinmame in hi res you may wish to have the digital display bigger. I do.

When you load up a table, click on script. In the code you will find a line

set controller = createobject(...etc, don't have code here @ work)

create a new line after this and type in

controller.doublesize = True

And bingo, when you run the table, the readout wil now be twice the size. I aplogise if this is a commonly known fact or if it's already documented somewhere. I don't do too much internetting, but I do love pinball, and I want to share my enthusiasm for it with you.

Seeya!

Great tip, Muzzakas! However, I would warn people that - at least on my computer - setting the display to double size has a significant negative impact on performance. But if you've got the machine to handle it, this is definitely the way to go...

Well, I don't know why, but I notice *no* speed hit at all running double screen on my amd 800.. I'm sure I'm getting less fps, but I don't notice it during gameplay..

Strange that a faster machine has problems..
