OK, i am having a few problems. And just so everyone knows, I have been using mame since its conception, so DOS or anything due to mame's complexity are a non issue here.

I am using the DOS pinmame. It will not let me record any sound, even though i have created a valid directory that matches up with the MAME.CFG

It refuses to record any sounds... is this a known issue for this beta? I have read the docs and nothing appears to be working.
