Oh great - I guess my Celeron 433 will be a little hard-pressed. :)

Turning off the sound is the very best option for making games run faster or less choppy. But I've also noticed that if you downgrade the sound quality (I've downgraded some of my games to 11025) performance increases noticeably, if you can put up with "telephone" quality. :) Running at a lower resolution helps too.

P.S. Why can't I find a ROMset that contains the sound ROMs??? :)

I don't know, because I got them from AJ's site, and though my set is only 980kB, I've got full sound and music in the game...

I remember you said they were mixed up with Twilight Zone but the TZ link also leads to shiva & they're not mixed up (& don't work either).

No I wasn't - I was actually going to the William's section(?). Thanks - I never checked there & never even thought they would be there. Too bad they don't explain it a little better. :)
