SubjectAre the tables digital photos? Reply to this message

The more I play the many great tables that have come out, the more I think the tables are digital photos with the flippers, bumpers and ramps replaced with virtual objects.
How are the original objects removed and the virtual objects put into their places with such precision? Where do the photos come from, some are very good and some not so good (Elvira is very out of focus). A semi-technical explanation of the process would be very interesting

The quality of the image used to create the table matters a lot. "Party Time" was obviously taken from a game box screenshot (you can see the color screening process mesh) and should have been taken from a screenshot...
