Hey Folks:

Okay, this is driving me NUTS!! I have a PIII 700 running VPinMame and Visual Pinball and for no apparent reason the audio starts to stutter and the flipper keys freeze... this happens at random intervals (usually when I'm doing really well too!?!) and doesn't seem to be related to ANYTHING I'm doing... the ball still moves smoothly, the tilt keys still function fine, but the audio stutters, the dot-matrix display freezes and so do the flipper keys???! Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark

The sound is extremely CPU intensive. During the times you do really well you probably also have the most sound going on as well (Jackpots and multiballs especially).

The only 2 suggestions Ihave for you is to either:
1) Turn the sound off (nah)
2) Stop doing so well and start sucking, this way you won't get all those jackpots and machine slow-downs
