i have 1ghz athlon t-bird, 256mb pc133, geforce2 mx, win2k pro, sb 128 pci. why that EVERY vpinmame game has static sound that comes back every 30 seconds or so?

Open your volume controls in windows and turn the wave output to half volume while leaving the sound volume at max...

Same problem here, I think that it's just a mame thing though.

Anybody have a solution for the weird gargled sound at random momments?
