Lair...the problem with your suggestion for TZ is it seems to be one of possible two ROM zips that PinMAME has a problem with. I and many others have tried to keep the TZ ROMs zipped up, but it will never see or run the roms in the zip file. But creating the tz_94h directory and extracting the TZ Roms in it makes the game work! And before you ask, yes I've zipped and rezipped and rezipped the files since some of the Williams zips would not work correctly unless you extracted the files and zipped them back up again.
