Even if I uninstalled the old VP nd then installed the updated version,I still get the expired copy error...
Then, I tried to run Star Tek TNG, and I'm experiencing a "This table requires VPinMAME ver 00990300 or higher" error
How do I point Visual Pinball to the foldeer where I d/led the latest version of VPinMAME?

few things to check -- first, verify you unzipped the roms completely and then rezipped them as STTNG_L7.ZIP

next, uninstall vpinmame.

Install Pinmame32 again to be sure it's set up correctly and run it -- verifying the STTNG_L7 roms work in it.

Install the newest vpinmame (the dll) and try loading another table to verify the default paths are correct.

Ensure you have the newest wpc.vbs file (1.2 I think it is) -- you can open it in a text editor like notepad and it will say New In 1.2 at the top of the window. -- Make sure this wpc.vbs file is in the tables folder for visual pinball.

That should resolve any issues you may be having there.
