AJ's excellent downloading site for Visual Pinball tables has joined the shivasite at: http://www.hippie.net/shivasite/vptables/

Whoa, the shivasite (hosted in Vancouver, Canada?) :) is really turning more & more into the one & only place. :)

Jay, you are right on the money. Shivas site is THE place for pinsim. :)

That sort of worries me. If Shiva has some sort of problem and has to shut down (or has tech difficultied or whatever) there are no other places to go. I'm surprised that the host is providing that massive bandwidth without ads or any other source of revenue (that I can see). Retrogames here rocks as well and they don't have the downloads requirements that Shiva's does.

Guess I'll just cross my fingers and hope nothing ever goes wrong with that great site.

Yeah it would be a good idea if say, Retrogames creates a download section with the latest VPinMAME tables as an alternate. That, combined with the existing message board & news, would create a small but good alternative to shiva in the event of a problem. It would also fill the void left by the departure of IR Pinball which also went to shiva. Is there anything left that's not hosted by shiva??? :)
