It seems that many System 11 games with the 2 16-character displays have this problem, including Earthshaker & Police Force. Rollergames & Diner are the same kind of system & display. There is a technical reason for this that was posted recently at shiva. The games work fine even with the different CRCs & I'd guess that the 2 you mention are the same...
