I have some sounds in Star Wars for some reason. No vocals but definate sounds of Chewbacca and R2-D2.

Is this normal ?
I'm also using the 9 meg music pack.(Which may be giving me some sounds)

Please check it out and let me know if I'm the only one here going mad.

I've just checked and there is a full complement of sound including speech when you get the extra ball, sound of a tie fighter when hitting centre ramp.

It does say that the sound is not emulated yet but it seems like it is for some reason. Please reply.

All of the sounds you are hearing are from the music packs. The designer (Geoffrey) just did a very good job of matching the sounds with the game events. All of the sounds you hear are samples that are built into the table that you downloaded (hence the 5MB+ size of the table).

Yes, that's correct. Since the BSMT2000 sound board is not emulated in vpinmame, the sounds in starwars are just wav files- it's not playing the sounds the real table does - but it does sound a whole lot better than no sound at all.
