I have just downloaded Vpinmame, and have followed the instructions, best I could as I am new to all this.
I am a bit lost on how to start Vpinmame without using the ....test.exe, and I only seem to get a small blackbox up which displays the top scoreboard of a pintable, and nothing else. I assume you do get a full display and can actually play a pintable with this emulator????

Help, please. This is really getting me down..

That's all that Visual PinMAME emulates, the backboard, sound hardware and controls which lights are lit (plus some other minor things). You'll need to get Visual Pinball (a pinball table creator) to actually simulate a pinball table. Go here for everything you need - http://www.hippie.net/shivasite/vptables/

Many thanks, Barry. That does explain alot of my problems. I was expecting more than just the backboard.
