I noticed that overall ALL pinball tables using
WPS.vbs wouldn't load coz it can't find WPS.VBS, but I KNOW it's in the right place, in the tables directory, and I got the latest from AJ's not one week ago.
Similarly, SOME tables using DE.VBS don't load for the same reason when some others do work fine. What does that mean? Do I need to install the files in a very specific path or what ? Help !

did you unzip the vbs files?

Yup, I unzipped 'em in the Visual Pinball "Tables" directory. Weird huh? And for instance "Game Show" works fine, but not "Cyclone", and I think they use the same file... (de.vbs?) :(

I just discovered that some zipped tables (Judge Dredd for example) have the WPC.VBS file inside)
So, if jou unzip it in the tables dir jou could replace the most recent one with an older one!!

Now, if I could just find the correct one somewhere...

Actually, it happens for other vbs files too. I've got the latest pack v2.21) uncompressed in the Tables directory, I uncompressed all tables, roms are uncompressed in separate directories in VPinMame "Roms" directory... I did exactly as mentionned in two billion tutorials, reinstalling everything, restarting the computer between installations... Always the same problem :( Game Show works great however, so it's probably not a VPinMame problem, but maybe this table do not need any VBS files. Thus, WTF is wrong with my VBS files v2.21 uncompressed in the Tables directory?

That's how I solved the problem for me, hope it helps...

I keep the tables in c:\program files\visual pinball\tables

I keep the roms zipped in c:\program files\visual pinball\vpinmame\roms

After unzipping the WPC blah blah file in the tables directory, I had to re-run the VPinmame SETUP executable.

Before doing it it seemed that VPinmame didn't see the changes.

Try to do it, if you haven't, and if it still doesn't work, post again :)

Good thinking. That's partly why I only unzip the table file. Though I do that mostly because I don't want to unzip fonts, text files, etc. It gets messy. :)

With the latest VPinmame4, I began to have the very same problems you have. At first, 2 current games don't work but the rest does. Then 2 weeks later ALL games end up not working. The error message mentioned cannot find the VBS files even though it's in the tables directory. From my pc environment:
My pc environment:
1.7 GHZ pentium
256MB RDRAM
WinMe
MS IE 6.0
VPinMame10b1
VBS221
VP beta4

The solution for my case was to go back to an earlier version of these two files:
MS IE6.0 -revert back to - MS IE5.5
Visual Basic script (latest) - revert back to - VB SCRIPT 5.5
After that, the OLDER tables work again, that is most of the Vpinmame tables (except for SafeCraker and Addams Family 3.0 or later).
