Ok, I'm sure that you get stuff like this all the time, so please bear with me. I'm new to pinball emulation, but not emulation in general, so feel free to use any emulation terms or whatever.

Anyway, I can't get the Star Wars table to work. I downloaded all the emulator files and the table and the roms. But, when I try to run the emulator, it claims that I'm missing something, and my emulator is not up to date, even though I have the most recent edition. I followed the instructions on the shivasite for beginners, and did everything it said to do, but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

First, be sure that you uncompress the VBS files in your tables directory.
If that doesn't work, download and install Windows Script 5.6 from http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/vbscript/scripting56.asp

Old Japanese saying: Monitors may still work with a dead cap, but they will not withstand a shotgun shell after I fall in the crocodile pit in Shadow Dancer 20 times in a row.

Well, I had followed the directions on AJ's PinMAME site, but that didn't work. Then, the next day, the PinMAME for dummies or whatever was put up, and I followed it, and it worked perfectly.

But, I'm still spending too much time playing the game, so maybe it would have been better had it never worked.
:)
