How about some rules to prevent that crap on Current Affairs board? I couldn't even look to the posts... I don't like to complain but that's too much don't you think? The board is looking like shit. If there's a maximum size for the subject there must be a maximun number of replies or something like that... specially replies posted by the same person, sequentialy..

It's kinda the whole POINT to have a completely un-moderated board :)

But then why all those crap was removed from the board? It appears that there's a limit for this un-moderated thing... But since I'm really new in CA board I won't complain anymore... =)

I was one of the ones contributing to it (if you mean the thread with about 75 posts) & I also requested that it be removed because it was making the board a little annoying. :)

& yes the CA board is where you can say ANYTHING without fear of reprisal. :)

It all started when KENNEDY (the guy behind this) was raning about the stupid war in former Yugoslavia on the G.E. board. A lot of ppl joined in. prmpting prophet initializing the C.A. board.

After a couple of weeks ppl ran out of current affairs to discuss and started to dump whatever they seemed fit on this board. It became the CUrreNT AffaiRS(E) board and either shocks or amuses people. But you will be surprised: behind all that rubbish are folks who are actually quite smart - and for them, emulation and romz are not everything life has to offer.

You are more than welcome to discuss ANYTHING you like on C.A. - but don't make the mistake to take all the stuff there seriously.

I thought C.A. was started way back during that earthquake in Turkey (I think that's where) and Atila posted stuff about it on the main page.

Remember, he changed all the borders black in tribute to the victims?

He also said something along the lines of, "I've set up a Current Affairs board for anyone wishing to talk about this - or any other news event."
