SubjectHow about a general forum new Reply to this message

Just a random forum for all the stuff that gets posted but doesn't deserve to go in CA? Like Mugen for example.

I mean the CA board is a nice board and everything, but a lot of people seem to be scared to post stuff there. A new board (where CB64 is now), slightly stricter rules, might move OT topics from CPS2 and GE boards.

Also, how is it that certain people can get around bans? Is there any way to sort this out?

You can post Mugen stuff on the gaming board. I believe it fits there.

*god I hate Mugen*

You can always set up your own board. And I believe that there are a lot of mugen forums out there.

Good idea - I'll try to point people in that direction next time I see them posting on the CPS2 board.

I don't particularly like it or dislike it, I'm just sick of seeing it on the CPS2 board.

I can't be bothered to set up my own board as I would have to moderate it (stop illegal links being posted and stuff) and I don't have the patience or the time.
There's also stuff like "How do you like my new sig?" and "I can't make an S for a Retrogames banner because I can't use PSP" and much more.

Well it looks like they can get around IP bans, but if you ban their nick, it'll at least inconvienience them when they have to set it up again with a new e-mail and everything.

Hee-eee-eey, now that's an idea...

We're in the middle of nowhere... just wide open empty desert... nothing around for miles... would be a great place to dump eFront...

That's why there should be a delay when setting up a nick - maybe 2 or 3 days. It will at least slow things down if not drive them to VGN's boards. :)
