http://www.pcbboard.com/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.cgi

I set it up yesterday as an example. Now the main problem with wwwthreads is that you have to click on each individual one to read the whole post, and this takes a lot longer than simply clicking on a topic and reading all of them.

This board I am using as an example is free and in my opinion better than ikonBoard. It has Who's Online, Avatars, Time Zone offset, ip banning and e-mail, statistics (i.e top posters of the week, month). Also show the most recent post and the latest 10 if you click through, also no-one would need be confused with how to insert pictures, urls etc as the reply form has a group of buttons that can be pressed for a function.

I have also noticed that below someone complians about not being able to select a forum without returning to the index. Well this board also makes that a tad easier too. Anyway I only first saw it yesterday so I am sure there are many features I left out. Please have a look and at least consider it, my post reading time would be cut in half!

P.S as with all boards the colourscheme can be changed.
