I can just imagine Chris going to all the other news posters:

"Please let everyone know that almost all the good emulators are closed source. Sorry but I'm running a licensing holy war here and I need your support!"

Things that are off topic that are funny or stupid are usually ok because they are usuauly funny or stupid (eg, funny shockwave animations). The latest RH Linux posts and the kernel thing... that just reeks of OS politics. I've been annoyed about it for ages, his tone just screams out "I've got the moral licensing high ground here! You are all evil for using windows and your closed source emulators!"
