Hehe yeah I used to do that with win98 for example, unfortunately it won't work with xp, it won't install either telling me that I have to uninstall the english version first (duh, it's part of windows) or that a more recent version is installed.
I tried messing with the registry and somewhat managed to install it, unfortunately, I couldn't start windows anymore, even in safe mode, so I used the last known configuration and when I was back in windows, well, it did half the job. Only outlook express was in french. It doesn't seem like it's done some harm to the OS, but I find it kinda risky you know.
I'll try to get my hands on one of those MUI packs for XP.
