I just got myself a nice new X-arcade 2 player unit from ebay. The only problem is it didnt come with any cables.
Does anyone know if the serial cable is just a standard serial cable? I would have thought it was just a standard straight thre serial cable but when i went to the live help on there website the guy told me that there are problems if you dont use there cable and that i need to buy one from them. Seems to me they are just trying to get some money out of me when i could get one much cheaper localy. They wanted to charge me $10.00 plus god knows how much to ship it to the uk. So can anyone help who knows if a standard straight threw serial cable will work. I dont want to damage my pc by using the wrong cable.
