SubjectRemoving a hard drive - help needed Reply to this message

Thought this would be an easy thing to do but I'm stuck!

I've worked out that to remove the drive I need to remove the drive cage since the two screws attached to the right of the drive can't be accessed from inside the tower.

The cage seems to be attached to the front of the tower with two screws. I've removed these, but the cage still won't budge. What else do I need to do?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Check if there are levers either side of the cage that you need to press whilst pulling the cage out.

It might be slightly attached to where it is if it was screwed in tight and the fringes around the holes got stuck together (cases are notorious for having metal bits where they should have polished/sanded), try prying them apart with a chisel?
