Are there devices that can capture a VGA signal. For example, I have a VGA box for my xbox and would like to take screenshots from games. I am looking for a device that would capture the VGA signal much like a video capture card can capture an NTSC signal.

There are, but very expensive... If anything you're better off using TV-in for captures.

I think this is exaclty what you're looking for....but I could be wrong. Hope that helps.

If you have a mod chip, get the TATX bios (same bios as used by Devs, only hacked to run on a Modded machine). Then get the Xbox shell (dodgy, but might be out there), install it and you can then browser the Xbox Network, right-click on an Xbox and select screen capture.

That's what I do, and it's great ;-)
