I think the power supply is ok. 430 watt Enermax with plenty of amps. And the thing is, I can just leave KOTOR on the menu screen and alt-tab out and it will eventually crash. And the most graphics intensive game I have, Oblivion, generally runs fine.

Interesting. I'll use Microsoft's malware app and see if it can find anything. I guess I have two other ways to go; clean install or try a different processor.
