Check the manual for the TV, most LCD screens I have seen run at a scan rate 60hz or less and you will probably have to adjust the scan rate of your video card to suit.
Changing from a CRT to an LCD almost always requires some scan rate set-up juggling or a "driver" download to allow the OS to clue in to the hardware.
Check the tv manufacturers website for "drivers".
