A few years ago, a friend replaced the caps on the board for the computer I'm using right now - the Athlon XP 1800+. This thing must be now 5-6 years old & still working - probably 3-4 years since the caps were replaced. And it's still easily a good computer for basic usage. Hmm what's basic usage? Internet, crunching, email, crunching, connecting to work, crunching...
