"Apparently there was even an Afterburner version made of this, seen at least in Gatlingsburg, TN in 1992, thanks to Aaron."

I can second this. I saw a R360 version of Afterburner (not sure if 1 or 2) in London in a SEGA arcade hall near Piccadilly Circus in 1993. Didn't play it, because it was damn expensive and I didn't have that much money.
Also played Star Wars Arcade there. Pretty damn cool, that the pilot and the gunner could be different people.

hmm, that was gloc, not ab2, I know that machine (its still there)

its my local arcade to work ;)

Seems a lot of people mistake G-Loc for Afterburner, would be nice if it does exist for that cabinet hardwarwe tho..

Sixtoe is there only one R360 at the Troc now ?

Yup, just the 1 (G-Loc)...well, at least there was...
I've heard a rumor the arcade in the troc is closing/closed :(

Do you know anyone who works there Sixtoe ? id like to get hold of some of the spares from it if they're closing down.
