I am pretty sure this game is "Toukon Retsuden 3", because Toukon Retsuden 4 was released for the Dreamcast and was called "Fighting Spirit something 4". It would also match the release year of 1997 and the question if it actually exists. I don't speak Japanese, but maybe "Toukon Retsuden" means "Fighting Spirit"...
