On which arcade engine runs Dead or Alive ++? It doesn't run on Sega Model 2 neither Naomi...what than???

As far as what it runs on... I have an unconfirmed suspicion that it runs on zn-1 type hardware like Beastorizer aka Bloody Roar.

There was an excellent home PSX version of Dead or Alive by Tecmo (640x480 @ 60 FPS, just like the equally excellent Saturn version). The amusing bit about this is that DOA is based on the Virtua Fighter 2 engine, so that means a PSX version of VF2 could have been equally good had Sega been multiplatform at the time.
