You're right there. It is, however, a shame that the DirectX port would have such an ugly bug, while the DOS port does not. Perhaps someday some motivated person could take a look at it. (read as: not me!) The source was released, although I cannot remember which version of the DirectX port it was released for (0.79? 0.80?). I logged all the games which have the trouble, though. I believe it's fairly well known, too, although I cannot tell immediately what the problem is. I wonder if "Bartman" still has the source, although he claimed in '99 he didn't.
