Subject"Alien 3" question new Reply to this message

Hey, is it okay to ask about Modeler games here? I have a question about "Alien 3" (and I apologize if it's in any way redundant):

Has anyone managed to get this game playable?? I have it working for Modeler, only I can't get my gun to aim (which pretty much makes the game kinda worthless), and I may have actually remembered hearing from somewhere that this was indeed the case with all copies of the game.

So what's the deal? If this truly isn't playable, is someone working on the problem, and is there any kind of estimate on when if ever it'll be fixed? (for what it's worth, I intially had this same problem with the "gun game" "Terminator 2 The Arcade Game," but that at least featured a gun calibration system which I was eventually able to use to get my aim straight: no such option on "Alien 3" though, at least that I'm able to tell...).

Thanks!

Well, I found an alien3_eep.bin file and an alien3_srm.bin file in the Backup RAM folder of my copy of Modeler which I copied into my copy of Alien 3 in my ROMs folder; I don't know if this was what you were referring to, but once I started the game I could only fire my gun straight ahead without being able to aim at anything, same as before...

So is this supposed to be the file, or what is? And can I simply search for it and download it from the web?? Or is there any way to configure the gun controls that would get it to work?? Because this still isn't working, and I'd really like to be able to play this game...
