the 32X version is similar to Afterburner of 32X - less smooth raterate but otherwise identical to the arcade (could be cos on UK TV it's only 50hz = 50fps?)

anyway why not simply play the original arcade version? the 32X version needs a much more powerful PC to play it (32X emulators = GENS, XEGA, Retrodrive, AGES).

emulators for the arcade version include System16(!) and MAME (may be slightly odd in latest MAME).
