You getting confused with the CDX. The CDX was a Genesis/Sega CD como unit about the size of portable CD player. The CDX was called MultiMega for European and Japanese markets.

Jupiter and Neptune were only prototypes. Never produced.
And MARS was the 32X's protoype codename.
