Well, we've sorted the problem out now, it turns out the sprite roms were surface mounted mini roms hidden away behind a few other things, they went totally un-noticed until now, they should be dumped sometime in the future, which is nice :)

I've spoken to the guy from leopardcats before, nice guy :)
