i work at an arcade. My boss wants to upgrade his existing Dance Dance Revolution (USA Ver.). Unfortunately, I recently learned that this game in particular cannot be upgraded, only DDR 3rd Mix and up can be upgraded. My question is: can a DDR 3rd mix or a more recent version PCB work in the DDR (USA ver.)cabinet? I was told that this cannot be done, i would have to buy a whole new game. Can someone verify this? Thanks in advance

The best cabnit is the 5th mix one. Its great because it can use's all the versions before it and all the newer mix once you install a simple chip. I dont know if your arcade does it illegal like most every DDR Mahcine but you can get all the mix's and install them simple off of a cdr. You mite have problem installing Ex but a little file editing and you should have it.
