I would really like to try and fix some of these boards if possible, Ill only sell them if I really have no choice.
I never had any sort of accident with static, this seems as a kind of a myth, I never heard anyone getting their PCB's damaged because of something like this. I once tested a 486 PC that a friend gave me and it worked fine, only later I found that the computer had been exposed to rain and the motherboard was soaking wet when powered it! From personal experience I can say that PCB's are more resistant to static/dust/dirt/rust/etc that most people think.
Back to topic, theses PCB's I got came from an arcade operator, not from a collector, they were all stacked together (about 30 PCB's!) in a rust filled plastic container. Most PCB's came with a nice layer of dust and some bent and/or broken capacitors because they were all stacked together. Luckily the Sega PCB's were on top so they seemed ok. The Multi32 even came on bubblewrap.
I had some bad luck before buying these PCB's, my NEOGEO MVS also stoped working suddenly! So a few days after the MVS died I bought these PCB's, in this bundle there were 4 MVS units, just what I needed, but they were all dead as well x_x
About the slots, its usual for the slots of the NES stop working, most people had no choice but to buy a new NES or replace the slots.
I tried cleaning the Megaplay carts but not the slots, its worth a try.
