SubjectVarious NAOMI questions Reply to this message

Well I have my NAOMI now and the first thing I did with it was to dissasemble it, god it was filfthy. I now detest smokers even more than I use to. The case was more yellow than white, the fans in and the air in/outtakes where not yellow though, they where pitch black as well as some other parts on the board. Well I'll let the case dry before I'll assemble everything again. Now some questions. My copy of typing of the dead will arrive in the beginning of next month and I wonder what kinds of keyboards I should hook up to it. I saw keyboards with the dreamcast logo on one of the pictures in the naomi part but is that pic autenthic? Not just some jammafied dreamcast? I really want to have all the parts when I get that game. ^^;;

There are no local service center in my country, I think I'd be lucky to find one in Germany or UK :P And I still don't have any clue on how to hook the keyboards up. Oh well, time for some Qix.

Well, no problem running wires as I have it connected to my PC monitor and a converted pc PSU. Now it seems I need to dig up some info on how to hack some keyboards somewhere, there should be something about it somewhere.

Sure, that thing is called an IO board and the naomi doesn't work without it, well the attract mode will work if you hook it up to a psu, a rgb monitor and a stereo. :P I do have it running in my new cabinet but i "still" want to know about how to connect keyboards to it as keyboards are not even remotly suported by the jamma standard.
