Greetings people! I have a question for those of you are familiar with Daytona USA 2's arcade machine....
I am seriously contemplating buying a sitdown deluxe machine, simply because I've always wanted one. But there is one issue I would like cleared about the cabinet. I am sure you are aware that it has an ethernet port that allows owners to play with up to 40 other cabinet players online. Can you tell me a little bit about how this feature works? I knew about it for the longest time but actually forgot it was in there! I'll break up the questions starting here: 1)Can, for example, other Daytona 2 cab owners set up and configure their cabs to go online and race against other cab owners? 2)To your knowledge, would an arcade owner who has multiple Daytona machines at his location, allow me to hook up my cab from home, and join in games at his location via the internet for more competition? 3)What kind of connection(DSL, Cable, 56K, etc) is required and is there is an extra periheral I need to add to the cab? I swear to God, I would willing to purchase a sitdown deluxe cabinet right now if it meant hooking up with other Daytona 2 cabs at either arcades, or private owners out there who're racing online everyday. Do you know any private owners who use their cabs to go online? Anyway please take time to give me your opinions. Thanks and regards, Julian
