Kart duel runs on system11 plus aka system12 so it's psx based.
Between motherboard and cpuboard (i think) there is a board for link 2 cabinet.

Are you sure? its down on the Namco website, IGN, and Famitsu as being Super System 23...

Yes i own 1 in Dx cabinet and the first thing i do is look what system it use :p
