SubjectQuestion.... new Reply to this message

Hello Everyone - I just found this forum for System16, even though Ive been visiting this site for a few years now(I really didnt look at the main page for the messageboard link :)

Anyway...I have 2 Arcade Machines that I purchased over the last 2 Years. One Is a Power Drift Deluxe Machine and the other machine is a Time Traveler Machine. I just recently was working on the Power Drift unit(Cleaning it out, adjusting the Accelerator Pedal, Trying to Fix the Vibration Motor) and when I took off the Cover that encloses the Pedal Adjustments, I found a mess of dirt, Various Candy Wrappers, an Earing, a Half-Eaten Jawbreaker -sick! , inside. I also found something inside that I hope that would help me find out the "History" of this machine - meaning where the machine was used and located before the local arcade that I bought the game from got it. So I have 2 Questions for you guys:

1- I found an Amusement Ticket inside that cover, and it has the name of "Pocket Change Amusement" on it. I have never heard of that place - Im thinking that it is a place either on the West Coast(California) or East Coast(New York). So if anyone has heard of this Amusement Park or Area, Please let me know!

2- If I were to sell my Power Drift unit, how much could I possibly get for the unit??? It works Flawlessly, the PCB works Great, the Monitor works Great, the Bank Motor works Great, the Vibration Motor needs new Bushings(the replacement ones that I got with the machine are the wrong ones for it.) Cosmetically its not in bad condition, there are a few cracks on the plastic cover that says "Super Monocoque" on it.

Thanks for any replies to this.

Thats too expensive though, just chuck it in with a reserve of what you wouldnt sell it for under and see what happens.

Remember to make a note about shipping, as it costs a ton to move these things, as you probably know.

Six...

Same here. I have overlooked the messageboard here too. I am usually use to hanging over on some other boards to razz on other users. *j/k* ;-)

By using telephone number search sites such as:

http://www.switchboard.com/ or http://www.anywho.com/

it is slightly possible to locate some businesses.

As for "Pocket Change Amusement", this is as close as it
is going to get.

-----
Pocket Change

2550 Somersville Rd
Antioch, CA 94509-8700

Pocket Change

2109 N Orange Mall
Orange, CA 92865-3611

There might be others and the game might have come from an entirely different commercial location altogether instead of either of these two. Good luck in finding the remaining details.
