SubjectPGM game list: Corrections / additions. Reply to this message

Firstly, thanks to Six for adding SSV and PGM lists in the database. Some little extra info:

- Do Donpachi II / Bee Storm is not a Cave game. It's just a licensed product made by IGS.

- Original (Chinese) name of Martial Masters is "Xing-Yi Queen".

- The full Japanese name of Road of the Swords is "Tougenkyou ~Road of the Swords~".

- IGS lists another PGM game in their website: "Fighting Club". "Puzzli 2 Plus" is most likely another PGM game.

- Do Donpachi Dai-Ou-Jou is not called "DDP 3".

- Ketsui's full name is "Ketsui ~Kizuna Jigokutachi~". There is not a version called "Ketsui" and another one called "Kizuna Jigokutachi", as seems to say the DB.

- The three Cave games are really PGM games? I mean, if they are not PGM cartridge games or "PGM" can be read in the PCB, I hardly call them "PGM games", even if they use a PGM-based hardware. The PGM is a "system" more than just a "hardware", isn't it? It's like saying that the SVC Chaos PCB is an "MVS game". Your opinion?

Keep the good work.

I rarely use the whole names of games where they have stupidly long subtitles, unless they differentiate between games (like "muscle bomber : insert stupid subtitle here")

Yes

No, its a type of hardware, single board PGM has the same componants (bar maybe an asic) as the cartridge ones, its just a different way of inserting roms.

Thanks for the other info,

Cheers,

Toby...
