The third game, Kontora... why do you say it's a bootleg? Konami did release the game under that name. The Japanese NES version of the game is called Gryzor and has the same kanji in the title screen; and the subtitle in the arcade title says "Kontora" in Katakana [a script used to write foreign words].

Unless I misunderstood everything.

That's right. The Contra Japanese version uses kanji for the title logo. Konami did that way in every Japanese Contra game. Correct romanization is "Contra", though. "Kontra" and "Kontora" are wrong ways to write this name and must never be used.
