hi i just found your website (OMG!! i thought)

your sega model 3 emulator looks like it is progressing very very well.

the lost world is the greatest light gun game ever and if you get it emulated near 100% i will have to worship you

i noticed there was only about 13fps on some of your shots does this mean a top end spec computer will most likely be needed for emulation? or that your work is still very early and not yet optimised, if so it looks incredable progress.

looking very very forward to your emu and preparing cig burns on my monitor for true authenticity :D

laters guys
great work also!!

Yes, but don't hold your breath for a release any time soon. There is a long way to go and Real Life has been keeping us very busy.

It's very unoptimized. Our focus at the moment is towards clear and maintainable code because we're still figuring out how the system works so we don't want to hinder progress by implementing any optimizations.

There's also a lot of debug code active -- things are being printed and logged to files on every frame, etc.

good luck with it guys.
hopefully in time the lost world SE roms will show up

i maybe wrong but i heard (at about the time the first machines was made) there was only 3 of the spectial edition cabs made (due to the hydrolic seats and extras) that were included. so they may be extremely rare.
or was i misinformed?

Nah, there was more than 3 made for sure, I've seen 2 personally, and I doubt they're the only ones in the world ;)

Although I am greatful that you guys are tackling emulating this hardware, I do not expect a full running release anytime before 2008 at the EARLIEST! But that is a good thing. The last thing I want the emu authors to do is rush completion of this project just to get it out sooner. Next thing you know we have bugs and all kinds and other things we'll have to deal with.

I applaud you authors for taking a "It'll be out when it's done" approach to this Model 3 emu. Here's looking forward to somewhere between 2008 and 2010.

I'm just a symptom of the moral decay that's gnawing at the heart of the...country
