Excel 2000 Spyhunter Easter Egg Originally from the Chris Pirillo's Lockergnome newsletter. (submitted to Retrogames by Jim Hart) "Got Excel 2000? Be sure it doesn't have the first service pack installed or this won't work. First, Open Excel (duh). Next, select 'Save as Web Page' in the File menu. Yes, the document needs to be blank. Save the page somewhere (I suggest the Desktop) and be sure to enable 'Selection: Sheet' and put a checkmark in the 'Add interactivity' box. Okay, now open up the saved file (Page.htm) in IE5. Move down to row 2000 and over to column WC. Select the entire 2000 row (by pressing the '2000' label). Hit the tab key until the selection box is in WC (again, with the entire row selected). Depress the CTRL, ALT, and SHIFT keys and left-click the office logo icon in the upper-left hand corner of the spreadsheet. If you did this correctly, you should be playing a KILLER game of SPY HUNTER at this point! Remember that old coin-op? Trust me; this is much better than the original version. You'll have guns (SPACE BAR) and oil slicks (O) at your disposal, as you watch the street-painted Excel 2000 team credits fly by. How's that, eh? Credit for bringing this to light goes to Wild Rose Computer's Alex Romp."
